In the heart of a bustling movie theatre, filled with the relentless energy of toddlers darting back and forth, I found myself completely absorbed by the magic unfurling on the big screen. The film? None other than the latest installment from the master storytellers, Phil Lord and Chris Miller. From now on, consider me a 21+ theaters-goer. Obi-wan voice you have done that yourself! The energy of a children-filled cinema couldn’t derail the majesty of this experience. But, let’s veer back to the main subject at hand: the movie.

It’s “filthy.” Hold on, scratch that. Describing it as merely filthy doesn’t do this masterpiece any justice. It’s the fever dream you’ve always had about what a movie could be, come to life. As an ardent movie enthusiast, we often find ourselves saying, “wouldn’t it be cool if…?” Well, this time around, Lord and Miller seemed to have answered, “We gotchu, buddy.”

You may think I’m being cryptic, and you wouldn’t be wrong. Yet, that’s only because I’m trying my best not to spoil the plethora of pleasant surprises this film yanks out of the hat. #NoSpoilers here! The Spider-Verse is more than just a superhero flick; it’s an animation spectacle that draws you into a world bursting with life…
