Blunts n’ Blockbusters

Confusing, creepy, and I don’t have another “C” word to describe it. This movie is like any other “something man” type of story similar to Candyman, Slender Man, and It follows, and while the concept is intriguing, I’m slightly tired of these types of movies. I swear eventually we will be cursed from doing anything, “Don’t scratch your lip three times or the chapstick man will rip your face off!” BUT I get it, the film addresses the concept of self-control and embracing the unknown, and if the ending wasn’t so ominous, I would say this is a great movie. The suspense elements are fantastic though, and pairs well with a Sativa-hybrid, something that gets the heart racing, having you paranoid looking over your own shoulder as you watch. Yet, that hybrid helps you match the pace of the movie when it gets really confusing, helping you not overthink…hopefully.
