Forever 2018

1. Forever Review (2018)

Rating: 12.65/15 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Did this show deserve to die? No! I can’t believe this lost the chance for a second season with such a stellar narrative and a great cast. Forever from amazon taps into the culture of marriage and the real concept of love forever.

Blunts: Smoke something that’s going to make you ask questions. This show has the feeling of a “What If” on crack, and if you are smoking something like green crack, you’ll want to finish this show in a night.

Glass: The episodes that don’t pertain to the protagonist until the end captivate the audience and diverge from the typical dramedy. Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph are gems, who characters each play a great part the broken down marriage.

Ass: The problem with this show is the fact that there isn’t a second season. That could have been due to the lack of views, or the weird premise, but Alan Yang struck gold with this one, in our opinion.

#Bring it back!!

Patriot act 2018

2. Patriot Act Volume Four (2019)

Rating 12.8/15

The Daily Show’s sailor mouthed brother is a light description of this show, but an entertaining analogy. Patriot act combines the free spirit of Netflix content, with the feeling of TV with no commercials, shows like this is what a streaming service like Netflix needs.

Blunts: Quick-witted humor that pertains to a certain rhetoric requires an engaging sativa that won’t leave you clueless. A conversation starter strain will put you in the mood to laugh at every joke and say, “I get that one”

Glass: The show continues to deliver interesting real topics that don’t disappoint in both comedy and knowledge. The show needs to be uncensored same with the Daily show!

Ass: This volume is still on going, so I could be speaking too soon on the quality of the show, but with three episodes out already, the show still maintains its clever appeal.

Preacher 2016

3. Preacher (2016)

Rating 13.1/15

How many shows does that make for Seth Rogen and Evan GoldBerg? As Preacher is on its final season time to review and give a pairing for the show…just in time for the finale.

Blunts: A sativa is needed for this show, its fast paced fun, with great indirect call backs, not for something that calls for a body heavy high. You want something that feels like you drank a “bowl” of coffee.

Glass: Tulip is a fantastic character, and our favorite on the show. Each character on the show is unique, and have overlaying backstories, but are so similar in their reactions. They are aggressive, protective, and care for their “family”. It’s amazing to forget that one character is actually if a vampire because it blends with the character.

Ass: The problem is, the comedy isn’t effective and taken less seriously, and confuse the tone of the show, but doesn’t limit

Mr. Robot 2016

4. Mr. Robot (2015)

Rating 14.4/15

Rami Malek is rocketing off to super stardom and this is one of the reasons why. Mr. Robot is ending with season 4 on October 6th, and before the date arises time to binge that crap out of this show — again.

Blunts: Sativa!!! Of course! Do I need to say it? I can’t have you falling asleep on me here with this technological crime thriller. Too much happens in a small amount of time, and when the episode ends I don’t want sleep, I want another episode and a blunt, so I can pretend I’m a hacker too.

Glass:I don’t know what’s better, the style and directing of Sam Esmail, or the social awkward bad-ass Elliot Alderson. Four season of jam packed political allusions and hidden government agendas, leads to a violent exciting show.

Ass: Moments where an episode can get so in-gulped in back story and development making a person questions what’s the point of the episode. But I don’t that’s a common occurrence, or necessarily true.

Patrick melrose 2018

5. Patrick Melrose (2018) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Rating: 13.8/15 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

Between being a sorcerer supreme and a master detective, Benedict Cumberbatch manage to live up to expectations, with this mini series based on the semi-autobiographical novels by Edward St Aubyn. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

Blunts: I say if you’re going to watch anything with Cumbersnatch in it, you have to be on a sativa — it’s the only way to keep up with him and enjoy the ride. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

Glass: I don’t know if its, the writing of the novels, or the casting, but this is one of those series that screams golden globes, and Emmy’s. The narrative builds a lot of tension throughout the five episodes making you question what happened. ⠀⠀⠀

Ass: Some moments felt repetitive as if they were trying to stretch out the story into five episodes when it didn’t need to be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
