Death of Stalin Movie Review

Blunts n’ Blockbusters Series

I love a movie that can take a serious topic and find hilarity while still being socially aware. This movie reaches its climax fast then continues to up the stakes leading to hilarious hijinks and odd character choices. The death of Stalin reminds me of Death at a Funeral mixed with Inglorious Bastards, which I never knew would be a combination I wanted. This movie pairs really well with a Sativa-dominant hybrid. There are true gut-busting funny moments in the narrative, and a hybrid really helps get the giggles out. Still, this movie is a great representation of satire, so having a mixture of a strong Sativa and a hybrid helps balance the social commentary and ridiculousness of the plot.
